Pointon Playing Field

Pointon's six-acre public playing field (off Fen Road) was established by the Parish Council in 1973. There are two full size football pitches, with a Junior pitch overlaid sideways on. Facilities include a pavilion with clubhouse and changing facilities operated by Pointon Sports and Social Club.

Children's Play Area

There is a children's play area with Seesaw, Cradle Swings, Rocket, Slide, Flat Swings and Roundabout.

Car Boot Sales

Car boot sales are always very well attended and take place on Bank Holiday Mondays in the spring and summer.

Grand Fireworks Display: Thursday 5 November 2009 at 7.00pm
A show of professional display fireworks expected to last one hour
Presented by Pointon Sports and Social Club
Event will take place come rain or shine (for safety reasons parking will be limited)
Entrance to the Playing Field £2.00 per person.
All proceeds go to Pointon Sports and Social Club and the numerous groups and charities we support.

The Sports and Social Club opened in April 1982 in the Pavilion in the SE corner of the playing field. Individual membership subscription is £4.00 annually, family membership £5.00 annually.
